The Strategy
The preparation is crucial because the pencil line that I apply on the lip contour will shape and define the natural volume of your mouth.
Depending on the effect desired, the lip contour can be more or less pronounced, or even done in a gradient tone (the contour is gradually blended towards the inner lips); the “lipstick” (or filling) can be applied with a 3D effect (emphasizing the texture). And always aiming to remain as close as possible to the “natural,” you will confirm with me a subtle blend of natural pigments, of which I possess the secret, completely in harmony with your skin tone.
The Beauty Sol Studio Method
For us, the most crucial aspect is the enhancement of the median sections of the lips, both upper and lower. Since they are responsible for adding volume, they create this fleshy appearance that is distinctly sensual.
The pigment is applied slightly above the lip border to create this sense of relief, and I particularly emphasize the upper lip because its elevated
position captures a halo of light. It is the enhancement of the renowned “Cupid’s Bow. “
For the upper and lower lip, pigments are carefully applied just above the pencil outline. Thus, the initial line holds great significance.
For the “lipstick,” I recommend the 3D effect, which is very lifelike, using a blend of pastel, beige, or iridescent white pigments to maintain the hue.
However, you can also integrate all these techniques while keeping a natural look.
